She also covered the disappearance of Terri Schiavo as well as the disappearance of Natalee. The award was presented to her as an award called the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award (2004) for her coverage of the Republican National Convention. A journalist with a strong voice, she gained global recognition for her critique of US President Donald Trump when he made remarks that were sexist towards an anchor on TV.
